Academic Sculpting
Recently I've been getting into sculpting figures in Zbrush from photo reference for study.. and I'm really happy with the results.. from all the figure drawing that we've been doing in TAD.. I can say they've really changed my life in the way I approach the human figure.. and it's finally coming across in these sketches.. I have found something that I look forward to in the morning.. I really think this needs to be an exercise every day from now on.. or at least as often as possible

Last Stand
Recent work update.. I've finished up both my Werewolf models as well as my Diablo III illustration. I missed the deadline by a few days for the contest, but I still finished it, and submitted it to Blizzard as Diablo III fan art.. so we'll see if it gets in there or not. Over all the process was very educational... I'm gonna have to do it again.. it takes a while though.. modeling characters and part of the background took some good time, but in the end, it was totally worth it because most of my lighting information was already there when I had to start rendering in Photoshop for added FX and fixes. I'm going to repost my Barbarian as well.. just because it's all apart of this series.

Art Dump Update
Been a while since I've updated this thing.. so without delay, here's some new work
An update to my Cosmonaut. I have yet to actually give her color and finisher her up, but I still think the sculpts and low res models are worth showing
A frog study. Modeled in Zbrush, via use of Dynamesh, presented in Marmoset Toolbag 1.05
Potential character designs for some future models. The two characters are supposed to Nicolai Tesla and HP Lovecraft. I'm working on a project in school based around a world where these two characters team up for adventures.

Some recent figure studies. Been learning a lot about the construction of the body, the Riley Rhythms, and muscle groups. It's really helping me to draw my figures more consistent.
A very recent school project, an illustration for Diablo III. I roughed out my own composition, and have 3D models in the works to replace the painted characters. My goal is to actually present the entire image in the round, but also present a single shot very close to the actual painted image.
Modeled in 3DS Max 2012, all hand painted in Photoshop
Fully rigged and posed

TAD Winter Workshop: Week One
Well I'm currently visiting Kansas City, MO for the next 3 weeks for our mid winter workshop. Here is a piece I finished within the first week. The next 2 weeks are a mystery as to what we will accomplish, but things are looking in favor of awesome.. For the first project we were to design characters that would fit into a Post-Apocalyptic nuclear winter, with an 80's fashion vibe. We came up with 16 different characters with backgrounds, physical descriptions and personality types. I chose to create a female mechanic.. here's my process and also is the color final. Photoshop

Gladiator Robot Design
I recently finished up a model of a robot design for my Industrial Design class in school. All modeled in Zbrush. I may end up adding a few parts here and there.. some for joints I think need work, and I'd also like to add a weapon and shield... I also have to replace all of the Zspheres with actual geometry for the fingers and tubes.
